The Hotel Toro offers just 22 stylish and elegant rooms. All rooms are en-suite and features include hair dryer, mini bar, direct dial telephone, private safe and cable TV. A laundry service is also provided. There is ample car parking available outside the hotel.

Amsterdam is a lively, bustling city, the centre of which is just the right size to be able to explore on foot or on one of the many bicycles that can be hired, cycling is a Dutch national past time. There are a number of museums worth a visit, Rijksmuseum is the country's top art museum and the place to go to see old masters. The nearby Van Gogh museum houses nearly 200 of the artist's paintings. The most famous building in Amsterdam is Anne Frankhuis which attracts attracts over half a million tourists each year; it was here that Anne Frank wrote her famous diaries whilst hiding during the Second World War. A boat trip on the many canals is a good way to see Amsterdam and it is from here that you can really appreciate how picturesque the city is; with its tall, narrow houses houses, imposing arched bridges and the fabulous boathouses which line the canals. |
